Humpbacks!

Today we saw a gorgeous and beautiful Humpback whale!

Do you ever wonder why Humpbacks are covered in bumps? It’s because those are their hair follicles! Just like us humans, humpback whales are mammals so they have hair. Scientists aren’t quite sure what purpose they serve but their best guess is that they act as a sort of motion detector.
