Today was a wonderful, sunny day on the water. We saw T123s and two adult humpbacks. T123 is comprised of momma Sidney, her son Stanley, her daughter Lucky and her other daughter Darcy. Lucky got her name after mom was found stranded and some very great people assisted Sidney until tide came in just enough for her to return to the water. Sidney was pregnant with Lucky at the time and it is very rare that a pregnancy would continue after such a stressful event. Darcy is Sidney's most recent calf, born in 2018 and she still loves to bring her whole face above the water when coming up for air! Stanley was born in 2000, he's pictured here left and below. I love his proud dorsal fin, it is an unmistakable trait.
