Bachelor Boys

T049A2 and T065A3, on the hunt

The ongoing saga of the two bachelor boys continues! Today the pair continued to hunt through San Juan Channel, with moderate success. What was most interesting is that they stayed in this area all day today, while reports trickled in of the T065's traveling up the west side of San Juan Island. Our onboard Naturalist predicted that T065A3 would attempt to rejoin his mother and siblings, and sure enough, the report came in around 7:00pm that he had changed directions and had almost caught up with them, and with T049A2 in tow! It's always amazing to observe and witness the stories of their complex and fascinating lives.
