Orca Solstice

Today wasn't just the longest day of the year, it was full of orcas! The pod we spent the most time with today were the T049As. Mom, Nan, was born in 1986 accompanied sons Nat (born in 2011) and Neptune (born in 2014). Also present was her daughter Nebula born in 2017 and her latest calf born in 2022! We got to see the calf's beautiful face because she hasn't quite learned that she can breathe without sticking her whole head above the water. Overall, a fantastic day!
